Jesse (or Jessy) Larios, creator of the Bearsun costume, decided to complete a 400-plus mile city-to-city walk from Los Angeles to San Francisco, California, simply because it sounded like a fun adventure. He knew the current form for Bearsun won’t last forever. That’s why he was hoping to raise $10,000 on his fundraiser campaign for a second suit that’s of a higher quality. And he hopes to donate the remainder of the money to charity, although he didn’t identify an organization until after he completed the journey. Media broadcasters and journalists covered his story anyway.

One of us has a legitimate 501(c)(3) organization. The other gets earned media. It’s unBEARable.

NOTE: Use of the BEARSUN or Jesse Larios name, voice, signature, photograph, or likeness in connection with any news, public affairs, or account, shall not constitute a use for which consent is required under California Civil Code § 3344(a).

In a KRON4 INTERVIEW: Bear suit guy explains why he’s walking from L.A. to San Francisco. Jesse (or Jessy) Larios created the Bearsun suit and walked from Los Angeles to San Francisco, California and “he HOPES to raise a ton of money for a[n unnamed/unspecified] nonprofit organization by the time he makes it to San Francisco.”
